Since 2019, our partnership with Equity Venture Partners (EVP) has been a part of our strategy to merge finance with innovative technology. EVP, a venture capital firm based in Sydney, specialises in early-stage B2B SaaS and marketplace companies. At the helm of our Finance team, and with over 25 years experience in accounting, treasury, and senior financial management roles, Paul is responsible for leading the strategic and operational elements of Funding’s finances.
A qualified chartered accountant with significant engagement in the banking and finance sector, Paul has previously operated at a senior financial and executive level for several of New Zealand’s major corporates and SOE’s. Prior to this Paul worked for global accountancy firm KPMG in New Zealand and London, working within the audit, corporate finance and insolvency practices.
Steven Brown
Chief Technology Officer
Steven is leads technology and innovation, ensuring Funding stays ahead of the curve as early adopters the fintech space. With a host of senior software and developer roles in various industries across large-scale global organisations, Steven has distinguished himself as a well-rounded and experienced IT professional. Steve is a strong advocate for DEI in STEM. Steve is based on the Gold Coast.
Kye Donnelly
Head of Development Finance
Kye oversees construction financing, treasury management, and development projects at Funding. With six years of experience in financial services, he has steadily advanced within the company since joining in 2020, now leading a high-performing credit and loan administration team. Kye holds a Bachelor of Commerce from Bond University and brings deep local knowledge as a proud Gold Coast native.
